Continuing Education & Professional Memberships

Dr. Stanger, DMD is an esteemed member of the Doctor Mastery Program. This five-year program consists of clinical training conducted by world-renowned clinicians, building on foundational skills and advancing to mastery of the most complex dental care.

Dr. Stanger has received advanced training in CEREC, CAD/CAM restorations, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and oral surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Stanger currently lives in North Phoenix with his wife and four children. Dr. Stanger is passionate about helping others and has been privileged to accompany a team of dentists on a mission trip to villages in Nicaragua. He also has spent time on the Winslow Indian Reservation providing dental care to the Native American people. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Stanger enjoys playing sports, scuba diving, reading, and spending time with his family.

William Gioia, DDS

Dr. Gioia has completed many hours of continuing education in TMJ treatment, sleep apnea therapy, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and advanced complex dental treatments including full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Gioia served as a peer reviewer for the Central Arizona Dental Association, as well as an examiner for doctors renewing their oral conscious sedation certification.

Life & Hobbies

A California native, Dr. Gioia moved to Arizona his freshman year of high school. He and his wife have two daughters, both of whom live in Arizona, and six grandchildren ranging in age from six-year-old paternal twins to a 20-year-old grandson who is a college soccer goal tender. One of his daughters was a dental hygienist and the other is an OB-GYN.

He has volunteered at Saint Joseph Mercy Dental Care Clinic for 15 years, but previously served as Chief of Staff for two years at the same facility. He has also volunteered with the Arizona State Dental Association Mission of Mercy, which offers free dental care for the indigent.

In his leisure time, Dr. Gioia enjoys fly-fishing, golfing, and CrossFit, attending a 5:00 a.m. class four days a week to try and stay as healthy as he can. He also enjoys cooking, especially baking bread and desserts!

Never at a loss to find things that inspire and interest him, Dr. Gioia would love to learn how to sculpt, speak Italian, and develop a singing voice.
